Metroid Metal, A Metal Take On A Classic Game By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Stemage, aka grant henry, has done what many have tried to do and failed, and made it a success. He has taken the soundtrack for the game Metroid, and redid it in the genre of heavy metal. Basically he went through, rearranged every track from the game, from the intro, to the theme, to the ending, and tabbed them out on a guitar. Then recorded them all with computerized drums and bass. The end product is amazing though. He has used so many parts of the subgenres of metal, like death, thrash, and black, and made a great record. You can also download the tracks for free from his site, but the audio quality of the cd is out of this world. As an added bonus, he has done tracks from Super Metroid and Metroid 2. If you are a fan of the games from your childhood, you should really check this out and buy the cd.
