If you've never been to Vegas before it must certainly be difficult deciding where to spend your vacation, especially with so many hotels on and off the strip. When I recently traveled to Las Vegas, I stayed at the beautiful MGM Hotel and Casino.

The MGM Hotel and Casino is a HUGE hotel with the world's largest Casino. I was surprised to find that upon arrival to the hotel we waited to check in with one of the more than 50 front desk staff members. The rooms were average, but the hallways were decorated in an "Old Hollywood" feel with movie prints of Marylin Monroe and Frank Sinatra.

The Hotel even had real live lions in the Casino! There were a number of shows going on when we stayed there as it has a beautiful performance center. The MGM hotel is so packed with activities, nightclubs, restaurants and fun that you could never have to leave your hotel for anything - we didnt!

I recommend this hotel because it is affordable and very enjoyable. A great way to experience the essentials of Vegas!
