Michael Clayton

George Clooney as Michael Clayton, a gambling addict lawyer from a big and prestigious law firm in New York. Divorced and have a son. But his finances has been somewhat get down lately because of gambling habits. He was a good lawyer, known for his reputation as the fixer because he was able to manage and makes things possible on his own ways. His latest fixing job was the case of U-North, wherein his firm filed a class suit for this company because of the hidden secret later on was revealed. His fellow lawyer who was in charge for the U-North case has been diagnosed and treated for manic-depressive mental condition and this condition prevents him from continuing the case with U-North. Meanwhile, U-North's corporate legal counsel, Karen Crowder is also doing everything to be able to patch up and hide the company's secret, to the extend that she secretly ordered death treats for Clayton. Honestly, i get bored at first watching this movie because I got asleep. But after seeing the ending of the movie, i find the story was worth enough for me to go back to the scenes I missed watching. The presentation of the plot was nice because the end part was shown first and then rest of the movie was the narration on how the story come up with that ending.
