Microfiber Bath Mat By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I was looking for a solution for a problem that involved needing a rug that could go in a bathroom and dry fast. I noticed many of these little catalogs I get in the mail were all selling the same rug. It was beige with a tan trim. They all claimed this rug was wonderful. It:
dried faster than any other rug
absorbes a lot of water
has non slip backing
machine washable
So I thought I would try one. It cost 19.00. When I got it I thought it was a little small. It measured 17 1/2 inches x 31 1/2 inches but when I tried it out it indeed worked. It absorbed water and dried fairly quickly.
These bath mats have 90,000 microfibers. They are made out of 75% polyester and 25% polyamide and they are very soft.
Brylanehome.com has these in a bigger size. It measures 24 inches x 36 inches for 29 dollars.
Originally the smaller rug was 19.99 but I see other sites on the internet (like Taylor's Gifts and Collectionsetc) now have the smaller rug for like 9.99 and 11.99 .
I have heard this washes well although I have not washed mine yet.
Overall, besides being a little small I really love this bath mat!
Warning: the tag says it has a latex backing so don't bleach it and it is flammable so don't iron it.
Microfiber Bath mat Purchased at: Online/catalogs Price: 9.98-29.99

This sounds like a great bathmat! Nonslip and quickdrying are definite pluses. I am going to look for one of these.
Sounds like Sham wows but better looking. The microfibers do absorb huge amounts of moisture making these great for small damp bathrooms.
I agree with Lexxia-these wash up so well & quick!!
I like microfiber. We need to replace a bath mat when our old, old kitty passes on. (Need I say more?) Maybe I'll look for one of these.
