Microsoft Optical Mouse Blue By tortillafactory on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a mouse that feels great to hold. I have small hands, my boyfriend has big hands, and we both like it. It tracks smoothly, with no drifting.

I have used mine for over four years, and the biggest problem has been an accumulation of dust and hairs around the sensor, which generally need to be removed with canned air and tweezers. Also, occasionally and for no reason, the right click function will cease functioning. Dropping the mouse onto the desk from six inches above seems to fix it, so make of that what you will.

I've used this mouse for many hours of delicate Photoshop work, and it never failed me. It retails for $25 and can usually be found for cheaper.

No, it's not wireless, so you don't have heavy batteries that need replacing. Exactly how far away from your computer do you plan to sit?

I give this mouse my blessing.

I love the 6" drop "fix", too funny! I wholeheartedly agree with you on cordless mice, seriously, replacing batteries every couple of months - why??
