Microsoft Windows Xp Professional By Psynergetic on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Before vista there was Windows XP, which offered Home, and Pro versions, i wont list the features becuase thats something easy to do with Google.

When i first got XP Pro i immediately found that it not only offered a great new GUI but a whole list of feature, I of course went to control panel first to customize it finding a whole list of things i could do to make it mine, Out of the three shiny new eye catching themes (Normal "Blue", Olive, and Silver) i picked silver, i tell you it looked great.

Other then visual optimization i also had the ability to cutomize my start menu with programs, web pages and other things, or even switch to windows classic view, (which i loved).

Also great in XP is like some former versions of windows you can set a conveinent background to you're desktop, not only colors, or wallpapers, but Webpages, i set my Desktop to a webpage, Google of course so i didn't even have to open a web browser to search for something, now thats handy!.

So if you're looking for an operating system that suits you're home needs without paying a great deal of money, Windows XP Is still a great choice that will keep impressing for a long time ahead.

Not an expert, but I don't like change, either. XP suits me very well for now :-)

XP runs a lot of my favorite software and it's been very trouble free and easy to use. I like it a lot!
