The microsoft basic optical mouse works great. I have owned one for 2 years now and had no problems whatsoever with using it. The response is great. In fact, the cursor has never lagged behind while being moved, unlike most other mice I have had experiences with. The fact that it is an optical mouse and not a ball mouse like most, helps the accuracy of it's movements greatly.

The scroll wheel also functions very well. It responds immediately while in use and hardly ever scrolls too far, like some other mice are known to do. The Microsoft basic optical mouse is a great computer accesory. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mouse, since it is easy enough to use and works great.
