Microsoft's Second Attempt By George Costanza on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is Microsoft's second attempt at a gaming console, and with the recent release of Windows Vista, I wasn't getting my hopes up for this system. Good thing I didn't because Microsoft screwed up with their first generation of the 360; no HDMI ports, no HD-DVD drive, no internal HDD, external power supply, no wireless internet card, and no optical audio port. It was only after the Playstation 3 was released that Microsoft is being cheap by having its customers purchase the necessary add-ons SEPERATELY from the actual system. But still, there is no integrated wireless internet card, no HD-DVD drive, no internal HDD, and still an external power supply. Though the 360 wasn't well thought out, the technology is sufficient. There are many more games released than Playstation 3 which is a positive, but the online play is NOT free. Don't forget about the red rings of death which completely render your 360 useless.
