Midnight's Daughter By Karen Chance By belle_morte9506 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is different from the rest of the Karen Chance books in that it focuses on a dhampir (half vamp/half human) named Dorina. Karen Chance has written several books focusing on a Pythia named Cassandra and the characters Mircea, Louis-Cesare, Radu, and Vlad from that storyline are included in this storyline. The story goes in a few different directions, with her roommate missing and Dory searching for her, and her father (ironically enough, if you've read the Cassandra books, Mircea) wanting her to capture the ever-elusive Vlad, plus all the vampire politics that are common in Chance's books. Also, we learn a bit more about the mysterious Louis-Cesare. This is engrossing and entertaining, and like all her books hard to put down. Anyone looking for an easy read with a good storyline and a bit of humor will enjoy this book, as well as the rest of her stories. Personally, I can't wait for another book about this character, or any of her characters.

I will definately put this on my "must get" list. Thanks
