Midol Menstrual Complete By allie63078 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I unfortunately tend to have severe menstrual cramps due to having cysts on my ovaries and many times I have to take prescription strength, however last month, I was having a fairly mild month cramp-wise, so I decided to get some Midol to see if it would help.

It did a pretty good job, but I didn't feel like it did any better than taking several extra strength tylenol or ibuprofen and it didn't work any faster. It did relieve some of my symptoms of bloating however so for that, I was happy.

I recently tried using the midol when I had a severe muscle ache in my neck. I figured if it would work for one muscle, it should help that too. I can't say that it did much good though.

I probably won't spend the extra money just to get Midol anymore. I'll more than likely just take a few extra pills of regular pain medication.

I have tried to take Midol a few times but for some reason it makes my heart race and I have to stop. Glad it works for you though.
