This has to be one of the smallest electric pencil sharpeners on the market but it is just as powerful as the larger versions. With two teen sons in high school who take math classes, we are always looking for sharpened pencils. They quite frequently ask for them just before going off to school. the electric sharpener works like a dream and is quick. The unit has x-acto blades which are very sharp and the unit is also jam proof. One super feature is that the unit turns off before it overhets. Ours has worked very well everytime we have used it and it has lasted for a long time. This sure beats sharpening pencils by hand. The point come out just right, not too sharp, and you can empty the wood shaving from the container easily. The unit is sturdy and can be wiped clean easily. For the small price, this sharpener provides excellent pencil sharpening!
