Minolta Weathermatic 7x50 Binoculars

These weatherproof Binoculars have great optics and are good for times when you are not concerned about size and weight.

They are especially good for marine sports and races because you don't need to be concerned about rain, salt water, and other elements.The image magnification is seven times that of the naked eye.

Weathermatic Binoculars come with a carrying case and lense caps. I retrofitted my lense caps with a piece of nylon strapping so that all four would stay together and I would be less likely to lose one of them.

The optical compartments are filled with nitrogen gas which prevents fogging because of temperature change. The rubber armored body protects against damage (and injury). The rubber eye cups are very comfortable and can be adjusted for use with eyeglasses.

Although the image quality is great, I generally prefer to carry my smaller and lighter binoculars which can fit in a purse or large pocket.
