Miracle Gro All Purpose Plant Food By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Miracle-Gro really does stand up to its name. It has all the ingredients for growing beautiful flowers and large and plentiful vegetables.

I had my daughter use Miracle-Gro on some impatiens she grew this year that were not doing well. Within a few days she was noticing new growth and flowers. It was amazing how much better they looked in no time.

It only takes one tablespoon to one gallon of water, so it is very economical to use. I like the fact that it is all-purpose, so I can use it on both outside plants and my garden plants as well as my houseplants. The directions on the side of the box give the recommended mix for the plants you are feeding. Indoor plants take only a teaspoon of mix to a gallon of water. You can also buy a feeder attachment for your garden hose that will give you 50 gallon's that will cover 500 square feet in 12 minutes.

If you want to have an instant green thumb without really trying, use Miracle-Gro!
