I do a lot of number-crunching in my job, so I want a pencil that is up to the job. Paper Mate's Mirado Black Warrior wood pencils are my choice for several reasons:

1. The pencil holds its point. I don't have to worry about the tip snapping off in the middle of a figure so I get clear crisp writing from its lead.

2. The pencil barrel is round, so I don't get a callous when writing all day. The pencil is smooth and comfortable to use.

3. The pencil is made from premium incensed cedar with a long and straight wood grain (it says so in the product catalog) so that makes sharpening easier and even.

4. The eraser is strong and erases evenly without smudging or streaking.

The Mirado Black Warrior pencil is my pencil of choice for any job where I need a pencil.
