Mlb Power Pros! By Chronotrigga on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Since the Wii started, it has come out with Wii Sports. It was no surprise that there would be more sports games to come out for the Wii. One new sports game to come out was MLB Power Pros. This game is highly raved in Japan, and finally made its release into the United States after several years. My first expectations for picking this up was the price. Best Buy has recently marked this game down to $20 -- whereas the average Wii game is $50. Anyhow, the game has LOTS of depth. The game has several modes to choose from. My favorite is Wiimote mode. This is the only mode that actually uses the functionality of the wiimote. You pitch like you're throwing a ball, and you bat just like you're batting a real ball. The ball flies off the bat very realistically. Unfortunantly, all the other modes don't use the functionality of the Wiimote. Instead, it's like classic Analog-stick button type play. However, it is still a great game nonetheless and it will keep you busy for hours. For $20, this game is a STEAL.
