Reviewing: Gxt Mobile Data Transfer
Purchased at: Future Shop

I got this free with the purchase of my computer. I use it to store my husband's and my own website pages. This way if anything happens to our sites or our computer our data is saved.

I find this 1GB to be easy to use. This data drive fits into the palm of your hand. It also works on Window Vista. It requires a UBS 2.0 port for hi-speed transfers. You can transfer just about anything to this and you can even transfer it to another computer. This data transfer stores pictures, music, your data and more. The write speed is 6Mb per second and the read speed is 8Mb.

Just last month my father was trying to burn his pictures to a disc, but his disk burner wouldn't work for some reason. So I took my mobile drive over to his house and transferred all his pictures onto this. I came home plugged it into my computer and I was able to burn his pictures to disk for him.

I like these way better than the floppy disks. Its compact with a cover lid to keep it clean and can be stored anywhere with out taking up space.

Update On Jan 01, 2010: Just thought I would add. Today I tried to add some pictures to this and it said it needed me to remove write lock. I had no idea how untill I googled and found out there is a small switch on the side of it that I had to turn on/off . Then I had no problem transfering the pictures.

I like Usb too, a very convenient way to store and carry your important data anywhere.
