Moist Lips
By janetlynn onI was getting chapped lips from a sinus infection I am still getting over. Since I try to not spread germs, I always try to keep a tissue nearby, so if I cough, I can cover my mouth and not infect anyone around me. The downside to this is that I get chapped lips.
Well, we went to Georgia for Thanksgiving and I could not stand it any longer. We went into a CVS Pharmacy one day and at the checkout counter, I saw different lip balms and decided to give Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm a try. I already knew that Chap Stick and the other generic brands may not work right away, so it helped to justify the higher cost of $2.99.
I have tried the tinted Burt's Bees lip gloss before and forgot that there was Peppermint in this Beeswax lip balm. Needless to say, after the slight burn I felt, my lips did begin to feel better. I used this lip balm for a solid two days and they healed up back to normal. I am very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone suffering from dry, chapped lips this winter. Just be forwarned that the Peppermint flavor can cause a little burn (not really a tingle, as they market it as). This is the reason I gave the flavor a 4. Thebeeswax offers a thin protection on top of your lips, which I really thought was a marketing gimick, but it truly is so much better than the other lip balms out there with just plain wax.
The lip balm is clear and even came with a $2 off coupon good towards any non lip product from Burt's Bees. So next time you are in CVS, buy one for your purse or pocket and maybe drop a few in the Christmas stockings.

Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm is absolutely my favorite! I love the cool tingly feel of the peppermint. . . . and beeswax is great for your lips.
This is the best , and i like it very much.
