Mommy's milk is best!!
By Sarahlovesmickey onWhen I had my first son, I did not even contemplate breastfeeding. The whole idea just didn't settle well with me for whatever reason. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I knew that I wanted to try breastfeeding. I was a little older and a little more experienced as a mom, so I thought I would try it. When she was born, I knew I made the right choice. Despite her problems latching on, breastfeeding went very well. She was soon nursing like a champ! I began thinking about having to return back to work and I was dreading it. How would I be able to hold out all day not feeding her?? My friend told me that I would probably have to pump. I was not ready for this, but began doing research. I settled on the Medela Pump In Style because all reviews were good for this model. The initial cost was a bit high, but well worth it. This stylish pump can go everywhere with the working mom and it is not a heavy tote. It is in a bag that looks very similar to a work bag/tote.Inside the bag, is the pump motor and a little insulated area to store the milk. The bag came with 2 icepacks and 4 bottles.I found this pump very user friendly. You can pump both breasts at the same time which is a real time saver. The speed can be adjusted, as well as the intensity of the suction. The cups can then be washed quite easily and put back into the bag. I loved this pump for many reasons, but I loved that you can either plug it into an outlet or use the battery pack (if you are in the car).Knowing that I could be at work, but still feeding my baby made me feel so much better about being at work.I have since used the pump after I had my 3rd child. It is still in my closet so when I have my 4th baby, I know I can do the same!Afterall, Mommy's milk is best!!
