Monster By Christopher Pike By ceres on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have read quite a few books by christopher Pike, and i must say this story is one of the best, albeit slightly scary. This book contains the excitement that you generally crave for in a thriller story, and the way scintillating way Christopher develops the story makes it impossible for me to put the book down until i reached the very last page.
The story revolves around Angela Warner, whose good friend, Mary walked into a party and killed two people. She attempted to kill more but was stopped by the police. Angela asked her why she did it, and Mary said "Because they were no longer human". At first, Angela thought she's crazy, until she discovered a horror so terrifying that she felt she's the one who's insane.
What i like about this story is that the storyline is really unpredictable, as the ending of the story took me by surprise. Still, it's one of the best ending to a good story one can expect. I also marveled at the interesting way he presented the characters, and how they reacted to the horrors they uncovered in their quest for the truths. Highly recommended!!

This book is definatly one of my favorite, I chose to do a book report on it at school aswell. I would suggest this book, remeber me, and road to nowhere as a first Christopher Pike book read. Please enjoy, Christopher Pike should be recognized by more, since he certainly is very talented.
