Monster I Car Play Transmitter Charger By allisonrachael on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Wireless transmitters and chargers for iPods have been a sort of "hit and miss" market. I have had experience with numerous similar products that were impossible to operate and frequently flat-out did not work. Finding the Monster iCarPlay was like finding a diamond in the rough. I was pleased to discover that it is very user friendly, and once it is set up, it works like a champ. I took this product on a long roadtrip immediately after purchasing it, and I was concerned about the seeming inevitability of problems, given how unreliably operable some of these transmitters are known to be. The Monster did not give me a single problem. I cruised down hundreds of miles of interstate without radio service, and I don't know what I would have done without this product; there were many times during that drive when I was convinced there isn't a better way in the world to spend $49.99.

I've seen these at Radio Shack and wondered if they performed. I'd love this on long trips. The price is very reasonable, making this really tempting
