Monsters Inc. (2001) is one of Disney-Pixar Studio's animated movies that features big-name stars in animated roles.The movies stars John Goodman (The Big Lebowski, Barton Fink) as James P. Sullivan, a huge blue monster that is Monstropolis's top "scarer," a monster that goes through a door into the room of a little child, to scare them.The screams and shrieks of the young humans is converted to power for the citizens of Monstropolis.Somehow, a human child, dubbed Boo, follows one of the monsters sent to scare her back into Monstropolis.It turns out that the monsters are as scared of humans as the toddlers are of them, and panic insues.Also starring in this family friendly comedy are Billy Crystal as Mike, Sully's best friend and scare coach, who is a short, green eye with arms and legs.The movie, in my opinion is one of Pixar's best films, and the disk is full of special features including Pixar short cartoons and deleted scenes.
