Monsters VS. Aliens is a great movie for kids. Ever since we saw it in the theatre my daughter could not stop talking about it. Although the bonus pack includes the short film Bob's Big Break, I did not think it was worth the extra $5 I paid for it. The 3D feature is not great on the DVD and the short film is just ok.

The movie is about Susan, who gets struck by a meteor on her wedding day and is changed in a super tall person, hence she is considered a monster. Voiced by Reese Witherspoon, she becomes the hero of the film and young girls. Other celebrity voices featured in the film include Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie and Keifer Sutherland.

Monsters vs. Aliens is one of those movies that make a great gift for kids of all ages.
