Monty Python And The Holy Grail By Tifffany on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

TIn this film, the British comedy troupe Monty Python tells the story of King Arthur ... sort of. They use a combination of humor and witty dialogue to add interest to the classic Arthurian legends. In this film, the troupe is searching for the legendary holy grail and they travel "by horse" to find it. Along the way they meet the black night, use a trojan horse, and many more.

I like this film because it is really funny. It is delivered more in "scenes" than a normal movie, without much flow between the scenes. However, the story does progress and is easy to follow. This is not the traditional or historically accurate Arthurian legend, but is a funny take on it. I find it to be safe for families, as there is not swearing or anything. There is one scene involving many women which may be a bit risque. I think this is a hilarious movie that is not to be missed!
