Mornin Mickey Toaster. By godfrey884 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Who doesn't love Mickey Mouse? My girls are BIG Mickey Mouse fans, and this toaster was an added delight to them.

It is a nice shiny chrome , with the picture of Mickey Mouse on both sides, the handle of the lever is the shape of Mickey's head it has 5 browning settings and a button to push to pop up your toast without having to lift the lever up. The crumb tray easily slides out to empty without having to remove your toaster from the counter. Two wide slots, that I was able to put a bagel into. And for the best features that made me want this toaster was that it imprints the face of Mickey Mouse onto your toast and plays the tune to the Mickey mouse club house when your toast pops up. Isn't that just the cutest thing? My girls loved it.

After we had the toaster for about 4 months it stopped playing the music when the toast would pop up. I called the company and they were very kind about it and sent me a new toaster at no charge, and they even let me keep the old one.

The new toaster arrived about 4 weeks later.

Back to the tune of Mickey club house at breakfast, only to find out again a few months down the road again the music stopped playing, and this time the toast wasn't getting toasted properly we either got burnt toast or had to put it down twice to get both sides toasted.

This time around when I called the company about it, they said they were aware of the issues with the toasters and there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to pay to have it repair and pay the shipping to and from them. I didn't think it was worth it concidering this was the second toaster. So that ended our breakfast adventure with the Mickey Mouse Good Mornin Toaster.

We have the Mickey Waffle iron and it's just OK, my husband has been trying to talk me into this toaster for a while now. I keep passing though.

Awww... that really stinks! If they are aware of the problem then they should have either fixed it free, sent you another one or refunded your money.

Too bad it didn't last longer, it's a fun concept!

It looks really cute and it's too bad it did not last longer. If the company is aware of problems why weren't they doing a recall or something?

That is disappointing. If it only lasts a few months it's not worth buying.
