Mosquitos won't bite me :
By loveonce1 onI know that some may not consider this camping equipment, but I consider it a necessity. I try to go camping a couple of times of year. Nowhere super exotic or anything, usually just up to the river near my house. We always make a weekend out of it and bring food and drinks. during the day we like to play out at the river, which is freezing no matter what time you go.
So the bugs and mosquitos like to creep out at night. I spray this on usually about dusk and it works wonders. I have always thought I have sweet blood because I get attacked the worst. This product saves me and my skin. They have it in pump form and aerosol. I personally like the aerosol best. I never have to re-apply it because it lasts all night.
If you need some added relief from mosquitos, no-seeums, gnats, sand flies and biting midges than this product is for you. As an added bonus it also has an SPF of 30 if you need it during the day and it water resistant.
This sounds like the bug guard for me! No-seeums are allll over me when I vacation down south by Fort Myers. I must have sweet blood too!
Skeeters are annoying little critters. I have tried Avon too but found it did not work all that well for me. It was as if the bugs got used to it and bit anyway.
Mosquitoes love me too! I try not to go where they are. I must have some sort of allergy to them, because it takes ages for the bites to heal. Years ago, I used Avon's Skin So Soft oil as a deterrent to mosquitoes and chiggers. It worked very well. Although, I've heard of the Avon's Bug Guard Plus, I haven't tried it. This summer, I'd like to do some gardening without the threat of bug bites. Thanks for reminding me to try this product!
Sounds like a good bug repellent. I will have to give this a try.
I wonder if this is greasy? I remember when my mother use to put the old skin so soft bath oil on us to keep mosquitoes away!
I've heard this one is a great alternative to the stinky Off sprays. I will keep this in mind for the summer months!
I use just plain old Skin so Soft lotion which I water down and put in a spray bottle. I like the added feature that this is water resistant though and has sun protection built in too :0)
