Mother's Back To Black Trim Care By Patrick on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Keeping plastic trim pieces nice and black can make a huge difference in a vehicle's appearance. There is nothing worse than gray, faded plastics, even on a perfectly clean, shiny car. Luckily, there are tons a trim dressings available out there to prevent and remedy this problem. Mother's Back-to-Black is one product that I have found, and really liked. It is very easy to use, and does a very good job and keeping plastics looking black, like they're supposed to. Sometimes it is necessary to use a few coats to get the finish you are looking for, and buffing the product and it has set on the trim for a short period of time usually gives the best results. I have recently found a few different types of plastics that this product just doesn't seem to work well on, but for the most part I have been extremely pleased.
