Mothers of the Bride Can Be Beautiful Too!

As everyone knows by now my daughter is getting married. I think I was most excited about finding my dress for the wedding. I only have one daughter so I only get to be Mother of the Bride once. I kind of knew in my mind what I wanted so off to the search engine I went.

It only took me a one look at this dress to know that this is the one I wanted. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. It has a two piece look but is one piece and is strapless but comes with straps that I can use. The jacket is a Bolero Jacket and the only thing I didn't care for was the sleeves. I prefer long sleeves vs 3/4. The dress is satin is A -line and is floor length. It comes in a variety of colors.

I called the Bridal shop in my area that carrys Catrina and she had me come in to try it on. It was everything I thought it would be and more. I told her about the sleeves and she said that was no problem, when she orders the dress she will order extra material and redo the sleeves. My jacket will have long sleeves and have th point at the end of the sleeve.

I have to admit I did buy this without checking with my daughter. She did tell me she wanted me in either Wine or Rose Petal (those are her colors). When she saw it she loved it!

Ok so I won't be as beautiful as the bride but a close second is good!
