Motorola Minitor III Pager
By k0b3x onA friend of mine gave me this when I went to visit him in another country because my cell phone would not work there. This pager was extremely easy to use: when someone leaves their number you can easily see who called you and at what time. I believe that this pager is used more for people who need to act quickly when paged or in other words emergency personal. I think that because my friend works in a hospital and this pager has a very loud alert when you are paged. Although I was not able to try out all the features because I only had this for a few days, I can say that the pager itself is roughly average is weight and size. Clearly, not many people use pagers anymore because of the widespread use of cellphones, but if I had to use a pager, I would definitely consider the motorola minitor because of its easy use and its loud alerts.
Good example of how these are still a necessary item.
My children all had pagers when they were teens and now they all have cell phones. I can see where they would be good for emergency personnel due to the loud alert it produces. How times change so very fast! I cannot wait to see what we will be using next to get in touch with one another. Great information! Nice job!

This does sound like an excellent pager for those in the medical field-I keep forgetting that pagers do still exist!
