Reviewing: Motorola Razr V3
Purchased at: T Mobile     Price: $29.99 USD

As T Mobile customers you are given certian perks. One is upgrading your phone with signed contracts. We had been dealing with them for a little over a year and our original phones were ready for upgrading. We went to tmobile.com and looked at what they were offering. We found the Motorola RAZR V3.

We ordered the phones and were surprised at how fast they came. All we had to do was charge them and insert our SIM cards from the old phones. All of the information transferred to the RAZR like magic.I know it's all stored on the SIM; but we have had other phones that you have to re-enter every single piece of information, which is so time consuming.

Our new phones are sleek, easy to use, and have great reception.I really like the speaker and earbud features for hands free communication. The battery lasts for a week before needing to be charged--that is amazing compared to our old phones, which we had to charge every other day.The only fault we found with the phone is on the keyboard: the number pad is great but the menu scroll is extremely touchy. Finally, they are quite durable.I know because I have dropped mine several times and it has not broke, failed, or needed repair.

We upgraded almost a year ago and the phones still look like new, the batteries still hold a charge, and the reception is still incredible.I noticed that T Mobile is now offering the Motorola RAZR V3 for free with a signed contract--Awesome deal for anyone with T Mobile or looking for a new company.

Update On May 09, 2010: We have had our Motorola RAZR V3 phones for six years. Last month my beloved phone started acting strange. People would call me but the phone never rang it signaled later that I had a message. This was intermittent so I thought perhaps that it was my service and not the phone. Last week the LCD screen developed a black hole and the bar across the bottom striped out. When this happened, it became clear it was time to get a new phone.

Initially, I had my mind set on getting another RAZR. However, T Mobile no longer has them. Technology has surpassed these phones. I did find eBay, Amazon, and Overstock sells them. After a lot of thought, and finding we were eligible for free upgrades to a fancy touch screen made by Motorola, we decided to step into the times. We ordered the new phones and hope they will serve us as well as the RAZR did.

Sounds like a good Company and I had this phone, loved it. Actually we had 3 of them on the go when they first came out and they all still work great even after one of ours dropped in water it still functioned - battery dies a bit quicker but still ticking in every other respect :) Thanks for the info
