Motorola Razr V3c By Jables on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought the Razr a year ago and have used it many times daily. It has traveled with me far and wide and been through its own ordeals. Previously, I have owned 3 other phones.

Given its slim profile and very wide front/back you'd imagine it was very fragile. This is not the case. I have dropped it too many times to count and usually on concrete. It has been through the washing machine. Despite all hardships, the little phone still looks good, and functions perfectly. As for its ability to function: I have nothing but compliments. Reviewers often criticise its reception and speak volume.. Let's just say I've used this phone in underground parkades without incidence, and I keep the volume at 3 out of 9 and my grandma is happy.

I do have two complaints however. Firstly, the screen is near impossible to read in direct sunlight or even a bright room. There's no way to change this. Also, the OS (software interface) is clunky and slow at times. Otherwise it offers all the options you would typically look for in a phone of its time. Looks cool too!

I agree with Kent. The Razor isn't really a good device, It brakes to easily and quickly so there for it shouldn't be rated a 5 more like 2.5
