Mount and Blade v.903

Sometimes, I worry about the future of gaming. It seems like every year all we get are the same old games, reegurgitated for the latest generation of hardware. It's games like Mount and Blade that allay my fears. The setting is a realistic medieval world.(Who would have thought?) In Mount and Blade, you're free to play as whatever you want, be it a bandit, hero, trader, or anything you can think of that would fit into the time period, really. The game's real strength lies in its combat engine. Massive battles of up to 200 NPCs rgage around the player on expansive environments. While the game itself isn't fully complete yet, it is completely playable. It is being developed by an indie developer, Talewinds, so it is only 20 dollars. It's an amazing game, and the price will only go up as time goes on. I'd advise picking it up now.
