Being the closest ski resort to where I live, this is a ski resort that I end up going to often. It's much closer than Big Bear and alot more accessible without having to go through all that mountain driving. The conditions aren't as great as big bear or snow summit or mammoth, however, being so close makes the convenience a big plus. It's not like the conditions are bad or anything. They make snow at night and have nicely groomed runs. There is a downside in that there aren't that many lifts meaning a longer wait time and less time on the slopes. The food is overpriced just as with all ski resorts, I would say wait it out with some snacks and eat later, you should be on the slopes anyways. The lift tickets are sometimes more expensive but usually you can get them on sale, a 6 pack is a great value.

I personally like the less hectic ski slopes. I can't ski any more because of my legs, but this does sound like a nice place.

It's great to see you have so many options to ski near where you are. Sounds like this is close enough to fulfill your needs inbetween trips to other resorts.

If I knew how to ski, it would be so ideal to live close to a ski resort!! That's too bad that there aren't too many lifts to accomodate skiers.

I hate when places like this have huge food prices. I would probably like skiing if I knew how. lol. I am just too scared. Thanks for the information on this place.
