Mountain High Ski Resort

Mountain High ski resort is the closest resort to people living in southern california. From Orange County, it is about an hour and a half ride with very little "mountain driving." Because it is so convenient, the resort is often packed full of people, and for beginners of either snowboarding or skiing, it may be very difficult because of the crowd. The resort consists of three main parks, north, east, and west. Most everyone will go the west park because it is the biggest and most fun to ride. The east park has only about two express lifts and they claim it is a "true alpine experience." The quality of the snow and park is average at best but the lift ticket prices are expensive compared to what you will be getting. I would only recommend this park for one day trips at a time because of the price and the distance. You can get much higher quality skiing experience with a longer drive.
