Move And Crawl Ball By traceyb22 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was really excited when my son received the Move and Crawl Ball as a gift last Christmas. He was just getting ready to start crawling and I thought it would be a great motivator. It is a really cute toy, but kind of a disappointment. It is a red and white electronic ball that shakes and rolls when you turn it on. It has buttons of animals, shapes, and numbers that you can push to hear their names and fun songs and music. The idea is that it will move just out of reach and your child want to crawl towards it. The problem as that before my son was crawling it would move too far away for him to get to it and after he was a skilled crawler he just wasn't that interested in it. Pushing the buttons entertained him some, but only for very short periods of time. We ended up putting the ball away after a few months, because he never really played with it.

Probably a plain ball with bright colors would have done as well, eh?

Sorry it didn't work out. It was a good thought though.

It seemed like an excellent idea, too bad it was a disappointment and didn't function and meet expectations.
