Movie Reviews: Volcano By Stephanie Grohol on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Volcano was a movie that starred Tommy Lee Jones as the head of Office of Emergency Management who has to deal with the sudden formation and eruption of a volcano in Los Angeles. As it is unlikely to happen in Los Angeles, it is also plausible that it could happen, since California is the earthquake capital of the world. His daughter comes for a visit and then has to contend with earthquakes, a volcano that forms and almost getting killed while watching a little boy. Also starring in this movie was Anne Heche, who plays a geologist, who has to figure out why this is happening and also how to divert the lava from a major part of the city.

This movie was an entertaining one and also one that I truly enjoyed watching. I am a fan of disaster movies and boy this one was a doozy. I was rivited throughout the whole movie and was on the edge of my seat on some scenes. I have watched this movie many times and each time I see different things that I did not see before. If you have not seen this movie before, I would recommend you watch this incredible movie.
