While shopping I came across this Mr. Bar-B-Q sauce mop. I purchased it because we barbeque a lot. Since we use sauce for most of our BBQ cuisines, I thought this would be a great sauce applicator.

I was right! This sauce mop laps up the sauce and slathers it on the meat.

The mop head is constructed with what seems to be the same material used on an old fashioned mop. The handle is made of wood. The hanger is leather. For what I paid, from end to end you get pure quality.

We found our Mr. Bar-B-Q sauce mop to work well with any sauce we throw at it. We've used thick barbeque sauce, thin oily marinades, and everything in between. Every time the sauce paints on the meat without a hitch using a plunging, dabbing motion. The best thing is the sauce coat you get is thick, unlike some bristle brushes we used in the past.

One would think, looking at this BBQ tool, it would be hard to clean. It really isn't. I found soaking the head in a pan of hot water, wringing it through, and tossing it in the dishwasher works really well. I allow the mop head to dry thoroughly before storing it.
