Mr. Clean Magic Eraser By Georgia Sawhook By Georgia Sawhook on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Ok, I've been cleaning for 40 years. I've tried everything from every generic to almost every brand name cleaning product. But there are always the hard stains, grime, scuff marks, crayon, soap scum and more that cannot be removed no matter how hard I scrub.

When they first came out with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, I thought it was just another gimmick to trick the consumer. Then I tried it. I had crayon marks on the wall that I couldn't get off by the grandchildren. OH HOW I WISH I HAD IT WHILE I WAS RAISING MY 7 KIDS!!! Well, lo and behold, it was gone. It didn't take much scrubbing or effort either.

It comes in a small box with 2 disposable cleaning pads. Always read the instructions on the back. They will tell you what NOT to use it on. YOu can destroy some things if you don't follow the directions. It suggests that you test it on a spot that is inconspicuous first (which is a good idea).

You wet the pad and squeeze out the excess water first and then apply and rub the stain or scuff marks gently back and forth until it's gone. I always follow this by using a clean damp cloth to just get any of the debris off. It can be used many many time over and over, but it starts to disintegrate and disappear. That's when you need to replace it with a new one. I always keep another box on hand, you just never know when you'll need it.
