Mr. Clean Power Multi Surface Wipes By Gayle Parks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am always looking for better ways to clean my kitchen and bathroom so when I saw these new wipes I bought them. It didn't hurt that I also had a coupon for them. I tried them on my bathroom counter and my father-in-laws' Power Chair. They did an acceptable job of cleaning but I am not sure a damp paper towel wouldn't have done just as good a job. Of course, the label does say they kill bateria. The label also says they are hazards to humans and domestic animals...Hmmmm. The label also states that they shouldn't come in contact with skin. I found this a little bit strange. The pictures on the label show an ungloved hand pulling the wipes from the container plus if I am going to use a wipe to clean with I don't really want to have to put on rubber gloves to do it. The pros of this product include the nice top that allows the wipes to pull out and tear off one at a time every time without pulling more than one out. The cons include the contradictions on the label and the smell. It is supposed to be lemon scented but I found it to be a strange smell. I think it is because the wipes contain ammonium chloride and it is mighty hard to mask the smell of ammonia. Overall they were acceptable.

I haven't tried Mr. Clean wipes, but have used other Mr. Clean products with good results. They are made similar to other antibacterial wipes, that I use in my home. I like the convenience of a pop-up container when I need wipes for quick clean-ups. Like any cleaning product, they should be used carefully and kept away from children and pets.
