I just love this toy. My son is two years old and doesn't speak much at all. I purchased this toy because It is a quite toy that him and I can do together. I say the part that is to go on the potato and my son tries to repeat it. He can focus more with his speech because It is a quite toy and he can focus on me talking to him.
Plus this potato set that he has, not only comes with Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head but with a Baby Potato Head too. It also comes with over 30 pieces.
You may think that this is not a toy for a boy so much as a girl. But really it is. My son doesn't play with it as a doll. He enjoys putting the eyes, ears and etc in the right places. This is a educational came as well as hand and eye hand and eye coordination. I give this toy a A+
