Mr Slim Air Conditioner
By Mary60 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011The Mr Slim air conditioner is great. It is a wall mounted unit without ducts in your walls or floors. There is a small opening in your wall for the connection to the outside unit. It comes in a neutural color that matches almost everthing.Depending on the size , it can be as small as a bread box. If you need to cool many rooms the unit can be larger(but not much). This one cools a five roomhouse. We have it located in our living room and on the wall facing the hall way. Cooling is good at that angle. It has a remote to adjust the modes of temperature, direction flow of air,and other numerous functions.
We purchased this because we had conditioners in every window, and i couldn't stand having those windows blocked.. I think the cost of thisruns a little less than traditional air conditioners. How i enjoy the comfort and the ability to see out my windows..This is an AAA++
Update On Apr 05, 2010: With the temperatures above normal here this pass week-end, we sure thought ofturning the air conditioning on. High 70's for Vermont in April, which made for a nice Easter.

I don't know Mitsubishi make air cond without ducts.Going to check it out.It is sure is a wonderful prodcut.Something really innovative.
Sounds like a great unit. I have never heard or seen anything like this. I thought it was either window units or central heat and air with the ducts. Thanks for sharing.
I have seen this in action. It is quite big...but compared to 3 or 4 AC units, its not so bad.
I think I've seen commercials for similar air conditioners. I would definitely be interested in trying it, because it sure beats having window units in every room! The price is fairly expensive but it sounds like it's truly worth it. Glad to hear you have your windows back!
This sounds like a great air conditioning unit. Thanks for the information.
I've seen the commercials for the Mr Slim and have been so impressed. What I like most is that the commercials say how silent the unit is...wondering if it really is quiet?
What a good idea! I hate how most units just stick in the window.
This sound awesome. Our air conditioner is old as dirt and when we get our electric bill, we remember it.
Hi Mary60, this product sounds very good and interesting. I just wish you have a photo of it attached. I would love to see how it looks like. I will just search it in the internet though. i would love to have one like this in my place because my place is small so a small unit would be more suitable. Thanks. Great review!
