I took this preworkout supplement over this past Christmas break lifting for track and field (sprinter). This was my second preworkout supplement that I had taken, the first being BSN NO Xplode. I decided to take this preworkout supplement when I saw that GNC was having a sale on it. Before this, I had heard positive reviews of it, so I decided to give it a try.

The supplement turned out to work alright for me. While I was lifting, after taking the supplement, I felt more energetic than usual and maintained that energy throughout my workout. But the downside was that burst of energy wasn't big enough to make me feel like I was able to pump out more reps than usual.

Although the initial energy wasn't as big as compared to other preworkout supplements, I had no ill side effects. Also on a positive note, the flavor that I bought, Orange Burst, tasted great. It was one of the best tasting supplements that I've ever had. Another positive note was that the mixability was great too. I never had problems with clumping when using Black Powder.

Overall, I would recommend Black Powder to anyone that was in the market for a new preworkout supplement. I feel like there is a little more to be desired from the initial energy, but the taste, mixability, and absence of ill side effects were definitely all positives.
