Much Less Pain By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am a diabetic, and I have to test my blood sugar 4x a day. At times this can be very painful, but I have found some lancets that hurt much less. They come in a cylinder that fits into the lancet device. You never have to see the lancets or touch them. All that is required is to put the cartridge into the lancet device and turn the cylinder each time, and then push down to load it. Then you simply push a button, and the needle comes out quickly, pricks your finger, and you're done!

These do cost more than normal lancets, but they are so worth the cost! I occasionally use the others still, but I much prefer these! I get the package with 102 lancets, and they last quite awhile. The needle stick seems much faster, and safer, as you run little risk of sticking yourself in another finger accidentally like sometimes happens with traditional lancets. They do require a special Accu-Chek lancet device, which can be purchased at Walmart, and most drug stores. For a difference you'll notice, try Accu-Chek Multiclix Lancets!

Hi Sparkle. We have Accu-Chek at home because we monitor the sugar level of my hubby and father-in-law. It's really a very good idea to maintain this gadget at home. Good review.
