Mulan is a girl who decides to take her father's place in joining the Imperial Army. She disguises herself as a man and calls herself "Ping." She has a hard time in the military because she is so much smaller than everyone else and must work extra hard to prove herself.

I love this movie because Mulan is different from all the Disney princesses. Her mind is not on getting married and finding her prince. She proves that she is strong and can do anything that the big men in the military can do.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Disney movie without a happy ending. I also like that the movie has some humor in it and love Mushu the dragon, played by Eddie Murphy. How can any character played by Eddie Murphy not be funny?

Before I watched this movie, I did not think I would like it, but it turned out to be one of my favorite Disney movies.
