Multi Digestive Enzymes By poshpost on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Before I discovered the Enzymes by GNC, I used to take the M-E-C Multi Enzyme Complex by For Mor, as my sister in law would give us some capsules from time to time. It actually has a few more enzymes than the one by GNC, and in terms of dosage, 1 capsule of MEC is equivalent to 1 1/2 capsules of GNC. So in terms of how concentrated the enzymes are per capsule, M-E-C is the winner.

The problem however is the price. It costs more than double of the GNC Enzymes. Without discount,GNC Enzymes only costs around $16. With the Gold Card Discount, I could get it at $12.80. Whereas the ForMor MEC costs $36 per bottle. And they both contain 90 capsules per bottle. So even with its concentration, M-E-C is way expensive.

Additionally, I only need for major enzymes that can break down carbohydrates, protein, sugar, and fat. And since they are all in the GNC Enzymes, I have no problem with it. And I know it works because of the chemical reactions taking place in my difestive system (flatulence, burps, etc.)

M-E-C is a good product. It is just way too expensive.
