While searching for something for my kitchen I ran across this amazingly strong double chrome plated steel multi-purpose commercial utility cart. It has a weight capacity of 500 pounds!
Believe me the box that it came in was extremely heavy! The unit itself weighs 42 pounds, the bulk of this being in the 4 solid poles that create the outer frame of the cart, holding up the steel shelves.
While absolutely no tools are required to assemble this unit, it is just a bit difficult to start it off if assembling the unit alone, as I did, because you have to slide the bottom shelf over the 4 wheeled steel poles. The difficulty comes in getting the poles all in because of the heft of the poles and them being on wheels… but it isn't too bad…
To put it together you have plastic sleeves that snap onto the steel poles. There are grooves on the poles that you snap the sleeves over, that serve as a stopper to allow you to select the height of all 3 shelves, as well as the height of the handlebar. The ridges that run down the length of the entire length of all 4 poles actually look quite decorative.
Also included in the box is a set of 3 heavy duty smoke colored mats that fit into the basket shelves so that the cart can be used to carry small items.
Two of the four wheels have locking mechanisms on them, so do be sure to put these wheels on the front of your cart. The locks are hard locks to hold the weight of the cart and its contents, so will need a hard step to push each lock into and out of the locked position.
I am really impressed on how pretty this cart looks. The chrome plating does not pick up fingerprints at all. I can touch it as much as I want and it stays nice and shiny!
I actually have this cart in my bedroom. It might sound funny, but I have a few decorations hanging from the top basket to pretty it up so it looks nice while it organized all the junk… ummm stuff that I like to have in my bedroom… ;) I am even able to hang a bottle of Fabreeze over the top basket so perfectly it looks like it belongs there!
I am so impressed by this cart and have so many uses for it running through my mind that I may have to purchase a 2nd one. It is absolutely worth every penny that I paid for it.

I have this exact same cart & bought it at Sams. 50 bucks was a good price. It is very heavy duty. I can vouch for it.
