The Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder is a mesh bag in which fruit or vegetables are placed.After it is closed up, a baby can chew on the mesh bag and get bits of fruit and vegetables through the holes.This eliminates the risk of choking that is commonly associated with feeding young children solid food.
The Fresh Food Feeder is easy for adults to open, and difficult for children to open.The large ring attached is useful for little, uncoordinatedhands to grasp.
It is fairly difficult to clean, as bits of food are hard to get out of the holes in the mesh.I have primarily used this feeder to put ice cubes in to soothe my teething babies (which eliminates the mess associated with putting food in the bag).
These feeders are a great value, and I have given many away as baby gifts.
