Munich Collector's Edition By Shawn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As far as Steven Spielberg film's go, Munich is clearly one of his grandest endeavors this side of Saving Private Ryan. Following the events of the horrific 1972 Munich Massacre, Munich is a gritty tale of revenge orchestrated with an untold precision. The film does not disappoint and is much owed its five Academy Award nominations and perhaps should have taken home a few.

With the film so firmly established as being good, the worth of the DVD comes down to its features, as most do. Luckily, Munich doesn't disappoint in this aspect either. Picking up the special edition will get you a high quality soft cover picture book which is an excellent keepsake. There's no shortage on features either, which will keep you occupied long after you've finished watching the film.

As with most special edition DVDs, it's not going to come cheap, but there's no doubt that if you enjoyed the film it's going to be worth every single penny. Spielberg fans have no excuse but to pick this one up if it's not already in their collection.
