I was so excited to receive the Leapfrog Learn & Groove Musical Table at one of my baby showers. Of course, it would be a long time before my baby would actually be able to use it. When she was about 9-10 months old, we took it out of the box for the first time.

The Musical Table can be used in two ways: with the table lying on the floor for babies to play with on their tummies; and with the legs assembled, so the child would pull up or walk up to play with it. My daughter loved playing with it right away on the floor. She had fun manipulating the different gadgets to hear the songs and see the lights and action.

The "book" in the center controls the mode of the table: Learning or Grooving. In the learning mode, the child will hear more educational songs/phrases, like the alphabet, colors, counting, shapes, etc. In the Grooving, or music, mode, the child will hear traditional nursery rhymes and children's songs, as well as musical concepts.

My child still plays with this toy at almost two, and I imagine she will play with it for some time yet as she always likes to come back and rediscover it. This is a quality toy for your toddler!
