"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is the song that my collectible St. Nick plays.I was given this as a Christmas gift about 10 years ago.I keep it stored in my curio cabinet and bring it out each December.I really love all the intricate details on this piece. The eyes seem so real and you can see the individual eyelashes on his face. The white beard is curly and his bottom lip peeks out as he greets you wishing you a Merry Christmas.

The details are just amazing.I can sit and look at this and always find something that I didn't see before. His hands looks so real that you can see his knuckles and fingernails. His robe is textured as well as the belt with the bells on it.His staff that he holds in his right hand is adorned with holly and pine cones. There is also holly attached to his red hat.In his left hand he is holding a rope with two golden stars on the end.If you look under the right side of the sleeve of his robe, you can see a golden trumpet.I imagine him blowing the trumpet to announce that the Christmas season is now here.

This was made by the San Francisco Music Box Company and manufactured in China.
