My Big Fat Greek Wedding By Tifffany on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My Big Fat Greek Wedding was written by Nia Vardolos, who also played the lead actress Toula Portokalos. In the film, Toula refuses to accept the greek life her family is expecting of her, This life includes marrying a greek guy and having lots of greek babies. Instead, Toula has an idea to become a travel agent and along the way meets the non-Greek man of her dreams, Ian Miller (played by John Corbett). When the family finds out about her tryst, she tries to find a way to fit her Greek and non-Greek lives together.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! The interaction between Toula's family is wacky but endearing. Joey Fatone also has a role as one of oula's family members. There are plenty of jokes in the movie. I do not know much about greek culture, so I can't speak to how well it was represented in this movie. But it was a very well done and funny romantic comedy that I can watch again and again.
